Hello, podcast!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the first season of FIND THE OUTSIDE: THE PODCAST is underway!

Together, Tim Merry and Tuesday Ryan-Hart are THE OUTSIDE—systems change and equity facilitators who bring the fresh air necessary to organize movements, organizations, and collaborators forward for progress, surfacing new mindsets for greater participation and shared impact.

Today we share the first three episodes of their brand-new podcast, introducing audiences to the why and the how of equity-centred systems change for a better world. It’s a topic—and a work space—as large as all the world’s problems, stemming as they do from lack of balance, perspectives, and listening. And, of course, from all our patterns, assumptions, and blocks as human beings trying to work together.

Needless to say, it’s lots to talk about! The busier we get and the further along we get in our work, the harder it is for us to be accessible. Because we’re all over the world facilitating, giving talks, and meeting clients—which is fantastic, but that busy-ness detaches us from reflection—and you—in a way we don’t want it to. The bigger and bigger our work, and bigger and bigger our ideas—and the more important it is to stay in touch.

So here we are! In this podcast, we’ll document and clarify our learning as we go, sharing our greatest light-bulb moments as we advance our own understanding of our work. We’re doing it live, and inviting you in. Welcome!

As Tim says in the first episode: reflection is too important to leave to chance. These conversations give us (and you!) a chance to slow down, catch our breath, and see our space and our work more clearly. Subscribe, share with others, and watch for new episodes coming every second Tuesday. We’re happy to be in your ears!
