Tuesday (she/her) leads large-scale systems change with a deep understanding and practice of how equity, when put at the centre of new movements, frees the path to better ideas that work. She helps diverse organizations and communities with shared interests reframe commonly-held assumptions and persistent issues.

Jen (she/her) provides Operations Management for The Outside. She ensures that the organization and its projects are running smoothly and efficiently with a good-humoured work ethic that exceeds the expectations and needs of their clients.

Dr. Gabrielle Donnelly (she/her) is a scholar-practitioner of social creativity and social change. A collaborator with The Outside, Gabrielle’s research and practice focuses on theories and methods for meaningful dialogue, participatory leadership, equity, and systems change; including the Art of Hosting, Deep Democracy, and Developmental Evaluation.

Bronagh (she/her) is passionate about using good process and complexity science to work on issues of social justice, equity, and structural systemic change. She has a specific interest in making the theory of complexity science practical for organizations and organizers so that they can better work with emergence, navigate uncertainty, and have better impact in their change work.

Sommer (she/her) is a Food System advocate working to increase equity, access, and sovereignty in the United States Virgin Islands and the Caribbean. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Virgin Islands Good Food Coalition Inc, a not-for-profit organization with the mission of advancing the common good through food. Sommer brings a unique lens to the equity conversation from her experience of living and working in the United States Virgin Islands.

Jermaine (he/him) helps create a braver culture and facilitate deeper connections for shared work across the globe. He’s currently working as a Consultant with The Outside, Ukai, and THE HEARD. Jermaine is a published author, inspirational speaker, emcee, master facilitator, and social entrepreneur who has worked in the philanthropic, mental health, youth-serving, arts, culture and social innovation sectors for over 10 years.

Rehana (she/her) accompanies organizations in their change processes towards greater health, equity, and participatory leadership in a way that is creative and embodied. She believes in the power of transformative learning and collective wisdom towards building living systems that invite us all to thrive. Rehana has been facilitating transformative change for the past 15 years with not-for-profit organizations, government departments, and grassroots communities.

Yolanda (she/her) understands that "words create worlds" and works to convey concepts in a way that mobilizes the audience to action. With over a decade in nonprofit/NGO program management, advocacy, and communications, Yolanda is able to understand and iterate your vision through prose. She is a "connector" with communication skills that span all levels of management.

David (he/him) is Counsel with the Atlantic Canadian firm McInnes Cooper, and the co-lead of the firm’s Immigration team. David also has experience advising clients on complex public policy matters, including major law reform initiatives. He has learned how to effectively act across sectors – bridging the gaps that often exist between organizations in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

After many years working as a Chief Financial Officer for a medium-sized nonprofit, Pat (she/her) continues to offer her services and expertise as a key member of The Outside team. Pat provides strategic counsel, with a strong focus on helping to shape its financial structure and future growth.

Francis (he/him) is an equity driven, multi-skilled Outsider with a background in international development, education, health promotion, software development, project, and financial management. Francis supports The Outside’s Financial Management by providing leadership in stabilizing the financial structure/systems and workflows.

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENTAL STRATEGIST

Gian Paul (he/him)is an Organizational Development Strategist with The Outside. His passion to “enable organizations and individuals to succeed” is the driving force behind his initiatives with The Outside and its clients. Gian Paul brings extensive Human Resources management experience, including most recently serving as the Head of Organizational Change at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) until joining The Outside in 2021.

Kristina (Stina) Torres (she/her) brings 15 years of participatory leadership experience in nonprofit, public, and private sectors. Her areas of expertise are complex systems, organizational behavior, leadership development, equity and inclusion, risk management, and policy. She is an experienced Art of Hosting practitioner and CliftonStrengths by Gallup coach. Kristina has professional certifications in organizational design, project management, grant writing, communications, compliance and risk management, inclusive practices, and Montessori administration.

Jess (she/her) is a mum, consultant, and Organizational Process Designer, focused on initiatives that enable people to grow their skills and their souls, and work together to steward a better world into being. She has more than fifteen years of experience as an intra- and entrepreneur, using participatory methods to propose, design, launch, run, and improve initiatives within diverse settings for employers and clients.

Sophia (she/her) hosts processes that support generative conversations and co-creation to uncover innovative approaches for social impact. While completing her Masters in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability she was introduced to the change-making methods and theories that she practices today. Her wide ranging roles have included acting as sustainability officer in Honduras to Ambassador of North America in Japan’s rebuilding efforts post 2011 tsunami. Sophia’s current work is focused on providing leadership and sustainable community development trainings in Canada and internationally.
