7.04: Outside Conversations with Sparrow Hart - On Transformation, Sacrifice & Streng
Hello, World!
Tim and Tuesday are joined by vision quest guide and author, Sparrow Hart, where they discuss the journey of leading vision quests and the essence of what a vision quest entails. They delve into the importance of sacrifice in personal growth and the daily challenges faced when navigating life changes. They also explore the profound themes of transformation, grief, powerlessness, and the journey of self-discovery through the lens of the vision quest.
About Sparrow Hart
Sparrow Hart is the founder of Circles of Air and Stone. He began his deep exploration of nature and wilderness in 1971 with a 5-month solo pilgrimage through the Cascades and Canadian Rockies — and undertook his first vision quest in 1980. Over the last 30+ years he has studied with a variety of native and non-native “medicine teachers” in the United States and Mexico, and taught and practiced both modern and indigenous approaches to healing.
