About Pascal:

Holding an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, Pascal is a member of the senior leadership team of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) where he serves as the Chief of Staff for the ICRC's Global Operations. Pascal started his career at Swiss Private Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd and over the course of 10 years of work in the financial industry, held different management positions, including as Deputy Head of the Corporate Finance Division. In 2004, Pascal joined the International Committee of the Red Cross where he was deployed to Nepal, Rwanda, the Kashmir Region of Pakistan, Jordan and Iraq. Following three years with the ICRC in Colombia, he became Deputy Head of the Regional Delegation for Niger and Mali.

In 2014, Pascal returned to Baghdad where he was Deputy Head of Delegation in charge of security and politics and as of January 2016, he was appointed Head of Delegation in the Philippines, ICRC's third largest operation in Asia. Today, Pascal is responsible for the coordination of ICRC’s operational multiyear planning and for the implementation and monitoring of strategy implementation at the global level. As an expert in organizational development matters, Pascal sits on several governance bodies around data and digitalization, resource mobilization, financial models, enterprise architecture, and the collective staff agreement. During his assignment to Niger, he served as a member of the Board of the International American School of Niamey.
